Elastomer secondary sealing elements in the dynamic, spring-backed part of rotating and stationary bellows mechanical seals. They perform inter alia the function of an O-ring and act as carrier of the mechanical seal and other mechanical seal components. The great elastic formability of this moulded part enables the production of sturdy, low-cost seals in large series. All injectable elastomers are processed.
