Thermosyphon principle, thermosyphon circuit. Heating a
liquid at the lowest point of a closed circuit and cooling the liquid at the highest point
creates a circulation of the liquid caused by the
difference in weight of the two liquid columns. A thermosyphon circuit is produced only
when the warm pipeline rises continually and the cold pipeline falls continually. Reducing
the flow resistances in the circuit to an absolute minimum reduces the size of the
temperature differential needed for the circulation, decreasing the load on the circuit
components. |
