Electrographite

Electrographite is produced from hard carbon or electrographite through repeat heating of the part at temperatures of over 2,500 °C. The heating is accompanied by growth of crystals inside the material, and the practically amorphous base material is transformed into small-crystalline electrographite. Electrographite is not as strong as carbongraphite, but it displays greater thermal conductivity (materials for seal faces and stationary seats).
