Circulation of a separate medium
To supply double mechanical seals with buffer fluid or single mechanical seals with quench fluid. Standard systems of circulation:

No. 10 Buffer or quench fluid from a pressureless vessel above the seal. Circulation by the thermosyphon effect or pumping system No. 11 Buffer or quench fluid from a pressure vessel; pressure generation by gas overlay. Circulation of fluid by the thermosyphon effect or pumping system No. 12 Buffer fluid from a pressure vessel; pressure generation by e.g. pressure transmitter from pump pressure connection.
